November Reading Update

Massive book hungover in November, unfortunately.
As the year winds to a close, I've made the executive decision to return my stack of unread library books and put everything on hold that I don't feel like reading. I'll get back to these when I get back to them, I guess. These aren't DNFs, just books that I'm not in the mood for right now.
On Hold:
Let's Go Let's Go Let's Go by Cleo Qian
This is a short story collection. To be honest, I wasn't enjoying it particularly, but I got far enough into it that I feel obligated to finish at some point.
To Shape a Dragon's Breath by Moniquill Blackgoose
This is an objectively good book that I just was not in the mood for. I want to give it a fair chance, so I'm setting it aside for now.
Currently Reading:
"You Just Need to Close Weight": And 19 Other Myths About Fat People by Aubrey Gordon
Yeah, I suspect this will be a 2024 read.
Creepy Court: A Monster Mall Anthology by Evangeline Priest
Feeling very mid about this. The conceit is wearing out its welcome fast -- I'm currently in the middle of a deeply cringey story about a woman hooking up with two ghouls. May finish it, may skip around to the bits that seem interesting, may just DNF.
10 Things That Never Happened by Alexis Hall
I have 8% of it left but had to stop because I was at a climactic stressful moment. Definitely will finish this year.
A Power Unbound by Freya Marske (The Last Binding 3)
Just started this, looking forward to seeing how the story ends.
Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros (The Empyrean 2)
It is so abysmally long that I anticipate I'll be recapping it well into the spring.
New Reads:
The Will of the Many by James Islington
5/5. Extremely interesting, very suspenseful, cannot wait for the second one. I was initially put off by the whole elite magical school thing, but Islington's world-building is fresh and he builds the stakes really well.
Heaven Official's Blessing: Ti Guan Ci Fu: Vol. 8
5/5. A fitting end for Xie Lian and Hua Cheng's romance, complete with both martial and moral victory over Jun Wu. Plus we now have translations of all the extras! I liked the merch but didn't love it.
Rereads:
April Lady by Georgette Heyer
Marred by some truly horrible antisemitism. Heyer is a very good romance writer, but it's hard to recommend books that hate Jewish people this much.
