I need to buy a copy of Tyrant. Probably an e-book, I kinda wanna hold off on physical copies because I'm hoping whenever Masquerade bk 4 drops they'll release a boxset.

Marrying Winterborne by Lisa Kleypas

4/5. The only Ravenels book I liked. I love the kind of dynamic Helen and Rhys have and the book is at its most compelling when it's about them. Unfortunately I've read the other Ravenels books and am still mad about Pandora.

The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern

4/5. I almost DNF'd this and I'm glad I didn't. It starts slow and a lot of the Sweet Sorrows sections were really tedious, but the actual plot, once it gets in gear, is enjoyable enough. It kind of reminds me of a magical ASOUE.

Mr. Darcy's Enchantment by Abigail Reynolds

4/5. A weird one in that I actually think it would have worked better as an original romance. The worldbuilding and plot are really strong, and the OCs are all great, but because it's Darcy and Elizabeth, the romance falls pretty flat and the total absence of most of the OG cast really sticks out. If you just change the names in your mind, it's great?

5/5. Unexpectedly joyful. Trans woman falls in love with her long time best friend. Alexis Hall has the range and I am here for it.
